I am setting up an exploratory committee to see what the support may/is/or could be for a StatesRights/Jake ticket running on the conservative ticket for president. Any feedback is welcome and the idea sounds intriguing to me.

You know that carrying a MD avatar whilst still a Senator from a State in another district actually violates the Constitution. By carrying another avatar you actually relinquish your Senate seat by virtue of a Supreme Court decision from ages ago. Might be a good idea to note it in your sig.

For the record, you should probably run to give us a little interest.

Referring to me as a crybaby (in your sig) because I seek to uphold the Constitution and keep voters aware that their Senator hasn't abandoned them is frankly assinine. I said what I said as a courtersy(sic), I could quite easily have simply sued you.

If you read "The Atlas" I made mention of it. I think it being in the profile is good enough.

You would get my second preference. At least here's a Conservative who doesn't pretend to be anything centrist.

and the attack politics ledger is favouring KEmperor...and now i'm 50/50 on my vote. Lewis, you know I can't stand attack politics, and I would bet there are many of us who can't eitherr. I hope that will be your last attack of this campaign on Kemperor himself, as opposed to his policies.

I wouldn't vote for you, but I think you should run.  Basically anyone who can keep this election from being a landslide.

I would consider voting conservative Democrat but not GOP

So are you saying that you refuse to vote for anyone with a blue avatar, regardless of their views?

I guess so.  Maybe I should switch parties and consider a run for Senate now.

Well I support StatesRights in his run. I think that a run by such a great Atlasian would be beneficial to the AFRNC. I support StatesRights 100% and hope that he runs for President. I also support that the AFRNC directs all party members to vote for KEmp in Second Preference.

I doubt a StatesRights/Jake ticket will stop a landslide as their supporters will likely place KEmperor/Alcon as #2...

I support that if the AFRNC does support a StatesRights/Jake ticket that we also support KEmp and endorse him for second preference.

Question: If States ran for President would he have to give up his Senate seat, or can he run simultaneously for both positions?

He can run for both simultaneously for both President and Senate. If he wins the Presidency though their must be a special election.
