For "first day or two" of the Olympics.  In retrospect it's a pretty obvious international trip for him to make- Britain is the best place to visit, ties into his Olympic past.

I'm curious as to whether Obama will go.

I'm also curious as to whether it's going to become the standard for future nominees to make an overseas trip.

I'm sure the IOC will love to have Mitt show up in London this summer.  Not as much as FIFA would love to have Jack Warner and Mohammed bin Hammam show up in Rio in 2014, but it'll be the same kind of love, as the IOC would like to forget it ever showed up in Salt Lake City.  To be fair, that was largely for things that happened prior to Romney becoming head of the SLOC.

Romney's apparent conviction that anyone cares about the 2002 Winter Olympic would be almost endearing if he wasn't Mitt Romney.
