I just remembered... it was Tax Day last week.  I didn't think much of it at the time, but even in a slow news cycle, that would create a lot of disdain for an incumbent, no?

Coinciding with Romney locking up the nomination and it is the perfect storm of a challenger bump.

From what I've seen, it hasn't been much of a news story. Last year there were nationwide Tea Party protests about it.

I think the Romney surge/Obama dip is mostly because Romney's sealed the nomination.

I think it is amazing how it has been ignored by the media.

Perhaps that is comforting as the election is still 5.5 months out.

Weak economic data and lingering high gas prices also most likely are impacting it. The race is bound to narrow up some at one point or another; this could be it. I think it'll widen back up again in one way or another as the summer arrives.

I'm not even noticing a polling dip.

There were Tea Party protests this year too. And they got laughed at even more this time.

I wonder what the makers of signs like this would do if the age for Medicare got lowered to 0?
