Thinking about the elections in November, do you definitely plan to vote for Kirsten Gillibrand for re-election to the U.S. Senate or do you definitely plan to vote against her?

Vote for her - 42%
Vote against her - 23%
Undecided - 35%

The poll, of 632 New York State registered voters conducted April 10th through 12th, 2012, has a margin of error of +/-4.0%.

This seems like kind of odd phrasing, but it's consistent with the roughly 2:1 Gillibrand advantage that seems to be the script here.

A lot of polls do the "Will you vote for or against ____X____?" polls, but they generally lead to closer margins than actual matchups.

Why do people continue to spend money commissioning polls for this race? Seems wasteful.
