No, no.  Because he loves being able to fire people, Commissar Romney would fire people with a pistol at the back the neck if he were a Communist.  But you can't kill all the proletariat, then the dictators of the proletariat would have to do the work themselves.

You're looking the wrong way at Romney. It isn't his inherent lack of principles that allow him to be as fluid in his political stances, but the fact that all available political stances ultimately are indifferent to his real goals, the real core of his political program.

The case of Mitt Romney is an indictment of the entire US political spectre.
