I have just today booked flights for my first visit to the US since May 2006...

I'll be based in Chicago, and I'll be in the country from 1 - 9 November Smiley

Short trip. Which places do you plan to visit?

Transit through LA, staying in Chicago, maybe a day down at my US Alma Mater in Champaign, IL.

It's just to catch up with old UIUC friends and to be there for the election.

I used to live in Champaign -- that's why my avatar is R-Illinois instead of R-Ohio (which would reflect my current location).

Sorry -- saw Champaign, IL and wanted to throw that out there.

Oh lord... Station, I went there once, lol.

I was all about Wednesday Night Karaoke at the White Horse and Murphy's ... interestingly, that Monday was the day I was considering coming down.
