Guys, when I was your age (and up until about 32-33, at which point I left the Bad Place), I always had girlfriends without paying for anything.  I don't know what kind of social set you run in, but when I was young we generally 'went Dutch' on everything, and on the rare occasion I had any encounters with girls who expected me to pay for dinner, etc., I never pursued it.  I think such an unpleasant encounter happened to me maybe once in my life.

I don't really get how these women still manage to get guys to pay for them.

As for my current situation, I'm happy to pay because - once your done with what you want, they're gone.  Its nice and well worth not having to listen and pretend to be interested and all that garbage.  I do sometimes hire 'milfs' here - and I quite honestly think of them as 'older women', though they're usually just near to my own age (say 35-45), or pick them up as 'giks' (free sex.. this is a rarity I'll admit).
