Have you ever had a seizure? If so, what was the cause? What were the aftereffects?

I've been lucky not to have had any, but my mother has suffered through several of them. Each time there was no discernible cause aside from extreme stress and anxiety at the time. (Which is what makes me feel really really lucky..) She was just very disoriented for a few hours afterward, and tired for a couple days beyond that.

No. But I had a friend who started having them, it can be scary stuff because a number of different things can cause seizures  (some trivial/not too important, some very serious).

Personally no, but I have a sister with epilepsy severe enough to have seriously impacted her life.

The unique misfortune of the Palestinian refugees is that they are a weapon in what seems to be a permanent war...today, in the Middle East, you get a repeated sinking sensation about the Palestinian refugees: they are only a beginning, not an end. Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

No, but my family actually had a dog who had them. She was a shelter dog and she would act like she had done something wrong after having one. The meds the vet had her on worked pretty good for years, but eventually she had another one which was pretty bad and we had to have her put to sleep. Sad
