Running for her old seat yet again, but sticking with the Greens this time.

She's got a difficult road ahead if she wants to even be on the ballot- Georgia's restrictions for minor parties are very harsh. She has until July 10th to collect the 18,860 valid signatures she needs from voters in the district; every single petition page must be single-sided and of uniform style and size; the petitions can't be left out at a meeting or some such (they have to be observed by the canvasser at all times); every single page must be notarized by someone who wasn't involved with signature collection; and there are numerous restrictions on where signatures can be collected, too (you can't get signatures outside of a supermarket or grocery store that sells any type of alcohol, for example). She also has to pay the $3,480 filing fee by June.

Hell, if she actually manages to get on the ballot I can see her getting a sizable chunk of the vote, if only due to the massive grassroots organization (and rekindling of her old local base) that it would take for her to even get to that point.

She seems to have gained a pretty large following among the Ron Paul-conspiracy nut crowd as of late (the type that has no affiliation with libertarianism but still worships him).

I'd stick with Hank Johnson. He's a funny guy.

Isn't she the psychopath that defended Gaddafi while he was murdering his own people, and then purported to be speaking for all left-leaning people with her view on Libya? No thanks.

That infamous comment was most likely due to the confusion and fatigue that are symptomatic of his Hepatitis C, actually Sad

Not only that, she traveled to Tripoli at the height of the Civil War to give a live interview attacking America on Libyan state TV (although the interview was interrupted by airstrikes in the area).
