Generally, killing large number of civilians among a population, does not increase one's popularity amongst that population. Neither does unconditionally supporting a state this is strongly hated by that same population.

US Media sometimes are so horribly inept at covering the scary people in the Middle East. (Just look at how they see Al-Qaeda everywhere)

Ahh, these pommies all crack eventually. No different from their boer fellows. You know they'd put back the system if they had the chance.

But this is honestly some strong words coming from a seasoned journalist such as herself. I wouldn't take them lightly.
