You will see this under my name

Take a look at a great article here-
http://www.usnews.com/debate-club/should-congress-repeal-the-scheduled-cuts-to-defense-spending/sequestration-is-irresponsible

Nearly every one agrees sequestration would damage our military- far beyond the damage ordinary cuts would have...and if this happens under a Republican majority I lose all hope- I'll go back to being a Blue Dog

Though I think military cuts are necessary, this is an irresponsible way to do it. Cuts should be made much more responsibly.

Now there's an oxymoron.

Although I'm sure that if such a thing were to exist, Clarence would be it.

You know, ever since I registered on this board, I've been wondering; what exactly is the orange and "O" supposed to signify? Blue is Republican (or equivalent), Red is Democrat, light green is Independent, yellow is Libertarian, and (I think) dark green is Green, but I don't know orange, or whatever light blue is.

Are they just placeholders in case a new party pops up or whatever?

As for sequestration, no way the House GOP will let it happen. The only government funding most of them like is military funding.

If they were unhappy with sequestration before, they should've objected back when the SuperCommittee was formed.

I'm sure the GOP and the Dems will both present plans to avoid sequestration.

They might, if they were competent, but we have problems in that department...
