What will you do to make the VP position more active and involved?

During my first term as Vice President, I briefly attempted to preside over the Senate full time, with rather poor results, as I lacked experience and knowledge about procedures. Quickly, I settled with presiding over some debates and votes, like all confirmations. I intend to take more active part in Senate business again, if elected, but with respecting superior role of the PPT on this field.

If Napoleon and me are elected, I'm intending to ask him to assing me to work on some issue, I'm interested in.

Kalwejt will be a key player in all aspects of my administration and of course we will work together to bring meaningful reform to his position. Kalwejt has experience as VP and acting President so he will also act as an advisor when dealing with certain issues.

We have every intention of defeating Pingvin's Whigs, so the answer is yes.

I want to ask Kalwejt: Where do you stand on gun control and Castle Doctrine?

If no one minds, I would like to answer...since I suppose I would be the one signing such a bill...

These issues are best left to regional governments. Kalwejt can explicate his personal view if it differs.

My apologies for this delay.

@ Pingvin
1. I do support gun restrictions. Back during my time in the Northeast Assembly I authored Northeast Gun Safety Act, that imposed severeal restrictions (which later were lessened a bit by Dallasfan's amendment, which I consider friendly)
2. At risk of embarrasing myself... what the heck is Castle Doctrine? Shocked

Not being sarcastic... It's the idea that people have the right to be safe within their homes; a person's place of residence is a place where they have protections and immunities, including the right to use force to defend against an intruder without becoming liable to prosecution. It comes from the saying "a man's home is his castle", and is also referred to as the "Make my day law".

Never heard it called the "Make My Day" law before. I certainly hope blowing someone's brains out wouldn't make one's day (not attributing this viewpoint to you, Sam).

It's cause the institution of the law was being instituted in Colorado back in the mid-80s, back when that Clint Eastwood movie was a couple years old and still quite popular, so they applied the quote to the law and it apparently stuck (more common in Colorado than anywhere else, judging from its use on the websites of Colorado law firms).
