I'd encourage my fellow Senators (waited four years to say that) to let this die, and wait until the President proposes his budget.

The way I have been bringing these to floor is to count either myself as sponsor or the person who previously had claimed it. Bills of "departed" Senators are supposed to be trashed and since no took this, I can simply deny I had taken it, thus making it an illegal bill, since bills of departed Senators must be trashed.
Since this is a heavy handed tactic, I will provided 24 hours in case some are uncomfortable with me doing this. If so, I will take sponsorship, recognize and second Al's motion to table and open a vote.
Thoughts?

The avenues by which I was planning to burn this down are not as open as I originally thought.
Therefore I am retaining sponsorship as is established by defacto of my decision to bring it to the floor, and then open a final vote on it. This shall be considered such a request for a final vote.
As no debate on the bill has occured within 24 hours, I now open a final vote on this. Senators please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.

This has enough votes to fail, Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.

Alfred and Pingvin have departed and been replaced by Seatown and Wormyguy.
I would assume that according to Bgwah's amendment a year or so ago, that the line of succession for the At-Large seats is as follows:
Alfred - Seatown
Pingvin - Wormyguy
Nathan - AndrewPA
Is this accurate? It is important to know, so that a final vote count can be determined. Successors can change the votes of their predecessors I beleive.

Many thanks, but it's the hard work of subsequent GMs like Shua who made this happen.
