Your question makes no sense. Whether, or not, any particular member of the ABR crowd holds their nose on election day, "getting rid of Obama" requires Romney actually beating Obama.

Yes, let's destroy the GOP's deep 2016 bench by instilling a Republican incumbent who everyone hates to block them.

I'll only vote for Romney if he picks a sufficiently libertarian VP.  Otherwise, I'm happy to stick with Gary Johnson.

No, unless there is certainty he can win.

I want the 2016 bench. Romney would have trouble with re-election.

Is there something magical about 2016 where all the candidates will die by 2020?

I'll be supporting Virgil Goode, unless Romney chooses O'Donnell as his running mate.

Not to diverge too much from the subject of the topic, but (Christine) O'Donnell surely isn't your ideal VP pick by Romney? I'm not even arguing ideology; there are plenty of people who share her beliefs who would be better equipped. I'd enthusiastically vote for Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann before I could vote for someone as unqualified as O'Donnell.

Or were you talking about Lawrence? Wink

Interested in knowing how I'm a cry baby. You know my distaste and very serious concerns about Romney go back to before Santorum's emergence as his main primary opposition.

I can't speak for Mike, but I interpreted the crying baby picture as him being upset that you haven't stood behind Romney yet. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Anyway, Phil, I too have concerns about Romney, but I know that in the end, he'd be better than Obama. I'm also eagerly awaiting his VP pick, whom I hope will be someone that would make me more enthusiastic about supporting him.

Just my two sense.

Romney will NOT GET MY VOTE UNLESS one of the following people is his running mate. And then I flip the ticket and Mitt would get VP.

Ron Paul
Rand Paul
Jim DeMint
Mitchell Elias Daniels
Nikki Haley

Absolutely she is. She's southern, hawt, young, telegenic and intelligent.

Everything Romney isn't.

Romney is indisputedly handsome and strongly favoured to be more intelligent based on his degrees and business success.

The man nearly got beaten in Michigan with 10x the cash against Rick Santorum. Despite all his structural advantages, still lost 13 states.

If he has all the advantages and fails to deliver, wouldn't that strike you as less than intelligent?

Plus, cheezy grits.

And I didn't say handsome. I said Hawt. Do you seriously think that Mitt is hawt? FFS, he's mormon. Hot would be choosing mild salsa on his potatoes every friday.

Y'know, Mr. Kenobi, some people usually like their VP candidates to have held some sort of elected office or at least some political experience...

Well, not exactly. It's mostly south of the east-west portion, but then the line turns to separate DE from MD.

There are some parts of Delaware that can be considered Southern, but O'Donnell is from NJ and lives in Wilmington.

No.  Location in reference to a line has nothing to do with it.  Culturally, Delaware shouldn't be considered southern.

I bet Albert Einstein would have lost many states if he was eligible and ran for President.

Also, if electoral success is a strong indicator of intelligence, you could have picked a better poster child than O'Donnell.

Is being hawt better than being handsome? Males may prefer the former, but females the latter.
