Romney photoshoppers cannot into high resolution
«

This might be one of the most poorly done banner ads I've seen by a campaign.
Clearly an image of people lined up that they could add the textbox "employment office" to was hard to find in anything bigger than 10 px by 10 px. And blending the gray background was impossible.
Also, forget about properly aligning any text, or using block fonts (note how the T in ISN'T hangs out over the edge).

I don't think Photoshop existed when the original image was made in 1979:

Are they copying me? I made this one a month ago. It would be my signature, but I don't like big images in signatures:
And yes, the story behind the image is the equivalent of "photoshop" from 1979. A bunch of Conservative party hacks were invited to do the shoot in the park. However, not enough people showed up, so they just photographed a small segment of the line standing in different positions, and then pasted it all together to make it look like a lot of people. When a Labour MP called them out for "photoshopping" the picture in Parliament, it backfired by giving the ad a lot more attention then it had previously gotten. And the rest is history.

15 rounds for the elites but 7 for the people. Interesting.

That image is still clearer than the blurry Romney one. In fact, it's bigger, too.

I'm so glad to be able to know where that meme is from.
I've seen it all-the-frick over the place.
Edit: Looks like it is on Know Your Meme after all.

I haven't read the article, but I firmly support Simfan's efforts to blame Lena Dunham for our society's rot.

Well, Obama wasn't working then because he graduated from HS that year.
Next up, they'll use some images from Germany in the 1930s or something.

They may have left the image blurred to draw attention to the rest of the ad.. you know, the important parts?

Lifting old images and trying to raise the resolution results in pixelation. It's just poor work, plain and simple, no other reasoning.

Does this mean that Romney intends to vastly increase the number of unemployed?
