Nick,

Are you appointing delegates considering the first meeting is called for by Monday?

If need be we could deliberate without any Mideast delegates.  After all, Rhode Island never sent any to the real life Constitutional Convention.

If none of the other delegates object, I wish to be secretary of the convention (records all voting and debate).

Peter

If NickG doesn't select any.... then should we (the candidates) try to argue who to send? Or maybe the Mideast won't send anyone until after the election....

How about having a twelve-hour write-in election or something?
The Mideast has no constitution, so nothing can be unconstitutional... Smiley

how about Dan and Peter each choose one, and all the senators representing states in the mideast choose one?

I think that's more than three, though. I mean, how many is that? Four? six? Eight?

Pete, Nym and Liberty; or Pete, Al, and Liberty; or Pete, Akno, and Liberty; if these choices were mine to make, which they are not.

I forgot about Liberty. We should send him, for political balance.

Liberty and Peter for sure, and either Al or Nym, the other can be an alternate.

No, the senators agree on an appointment.

I'd recommend Peter, Al and Liberty, myself.

If appointed I will gladly serve.

I think Pete and Nym would be excellent choices to accompany me if I'm selected

I nominate Pete Bell, Al, and Liberty as delegates to the convention, with Nym as 1st alternate and Ben as 2nd alternate if any of these three cannot go.

Just in time, too. Smiley
Now all we need is two more delegates from MAS.

Gosh, I was thinking Ben, TexasGurl, and Liberty. Of course, now that the Governor has weighed in, that's out of the question, isn't it?
