Option #2 for me. I usually get Mitt Romney and Rob McKenna ads. It's kind of annoying.

I have no idea...I guess I don't go to places that do this or have learned to ignore them.

Adblock, but when I'm on another computer I seem to get about an equal number of each (and almost all from well out of state, weirdly).

The only ads I get are porn or games ads and emails from some dude in Nigeria about investing money there and emails about dick enlargements.

I always, and I mean always, get ads for a website that lists handy abortion clinics worldwide.

I see a lot of Romney, Corbett, Toomey, Tom Smith, etc. ads.

Option 2.

Both - but I get more Democratic ads (mostly related to Jon Tester) than Republican ones.

Adblock, but when I do see ads on this forum it is almost always for Angus King or anti-lobbyist ads. Independent, I guess?

That's what living in Ireland would do.

Lean Democratic. I get ads for Obama and Romney, but for some reason there's always at least one for Bob Kerrey.

Edit: And a lot of "Obama vs Romney?" online polls.

I get a weird mix most of the time. Lots of Obama, a disproportionate amount of Angus King and yet also Tom Smith.

I keep getting ads for Dan Lilijenquist that say "Defeat Hatch, Donte now."

I suppose they know I am a Republican, but obviously don't know what kind of Republican I am.

Independent. I get a Tea Party Patriots "Obama Assessment Survey", "Defeat ObamaClone Bill Nelson" (that one comes up a lot), Pete Hegseth for Senate, Recall Scott Walker, Stop Mitt Romney, Support President Obama, a NewsMax poll and Angus King for US Senate. It gave me, in the trio at the top of the page, "Support Keystone XL! Tell Bill Nelson to support the Pipeline! Sign the Petition today" from Connie Mack, "ObamaClone Bill Nelson: What Florida doesn't need is another Obamaclone in the senate [sic]", from ObamaCloneNelson.com, and "Florida's Senator: Bill Nelson. Fighting For Florida Families. Get Updates!" from Bill Nelson.
