Does anybody agree that the real NBA Championship will be decided in the Western Conference Finals?  Both the Thunder and the Spurs look miles better and stronger than any of the 4 teams remaining in the East.  Of course, anything can happen and the NBA Championship won't officially be decided until middle to late June, but I think the Thunder and the Spurs is the most exciting on the remainder of the NBA schedule.

I don't think so, the Heat or the Celtics are evenly matched with those two.

There was one ESPN analyst late Thursday evening that said he expects the Thunder to beat the Spurs in 6 games, not 7.  He says the Thunder have to win it in 6, because they have no chance in a Game 7 in San Antonio.  All that would be required for the Thunder to take it in 6 is to take one of Games 1, 2, and 5 in San Antonio and sweep the Oklahoma City games (3, 4, 6).  I think that's very doable.  The Spurs have to lose sometime.

Normally, I don't, but my ears do perk up when they or any other person mentions my favorite team(s).

As long as the Spurs/OKC/Celtics can eliminate the Heat, I don't care. That said, I'd love to see Timmy Duncan win a 5th ring.

While that would be nice to see, and I will definitely be rooting for the Spurs if they defeat the Thunder, I would rather see KD get his first ring 5 years after he was drafted.

He won't win a 5th ring, the OKC team is too tough for even SA to handle.

Considering they went 2-1 against the Thunder this season and are currently 8-0 in the playoffs, I'd lean heavily towards OKC not being able to handle the Spurs. Not that they aren't good, they're just not absurdly good like the Spurs. If they manage to win, I think the Heat will give them fits too.

Too bad the Sixers lost, I was hoping for another upset involving the 76ers.

C'mon they lost in 7 games, that's not too bad for a bottom seeder.

Finally, the Spurs have lost. Although I think they pretty much weren't that interested in playing last night.

It will be interesting what happens in Game 4 tonight, but I think the Thunder will pull it off and even the series.  All the Thunder will have to do from there is take one of the final two in San Antonio and take Game 6 in Oklahoma City.  Not too tall of a task.  Remember, the Thunder is very close to being up 2-1 right now if we had not had that 4th quarter meltdown in Game 1.

A solid game by Serge Ibaka - 11/11 from the field for a career high 26 points.  Kevin Durant played lights out in the 4th quarter with 34 points total and the Thunder win Game 4 109-103 to tie the series at 2 and make it a Best-of-3 series.  The series shifts back to San Antonio for Game 5 on Monday night, but I think the Thunder are in the drivers seat right now thanks to this thing called MOMENTUM!!  We have huge momentum after turning the 20 game Spur win streak into a 2 game Spur losing streak.  I have a big feeling the Thunder will not only win Game 5, but close it out in Oklahoma City in Game 6 on Wednesday.

A close, nail-biting victory by the Oklahoma City Thunder in San Antonio to go up 3-2 on the series.  It is the first road win of either Conference Finals.  Now, all we have to do is win at home on Wednesday and we'll be waiting for the winner of the Heat and Celtics!!!  THUNDER UP!!!!

And the Celtics take the lead! We might be headed to the NBA Finals once again.

THAT's what I call good basketball.  A tale of two halves.  All Spurs in the first half and all Thunder in the second half.  The Oklahoma City Thunder are the Western Conference Champions beating the San Antonio Spurs in 6 games.  We will have homecourt advantage either way, and I think we have a great shot at the NBA World Championship!!!
