Montana too.

I wonder how many counties in Appalacia or OK Obama lost the dem vote. I also wonder what the white dem vote in OK was.

% Independent vote for Obama/McCain map:

The Indy vote is a pretty accurate prediction of state results, with only AZ, NE, KS, and NC being "incorrect". NC is surprising in terms of margin, AZ because of home state advantage, and NE and KS due to being strong for the other party. Perhaps western NE/KS are overwhelmingly GOP in terms of registration and all those states' Indy voters live in the more competitive areas.

I made a map of which party's voters had a stronger margin. Keep in mind that some of these are 1% or less.

Skin color > the issues

I'm fixin' to whup ur colored ass

To be fair to LA, most of said white Democrats probably wouldn't agree with Obama on the issues either.

More interesting:

% of white Democrats Obama/McCain

Louisiana - 38/60
Alabama - 47/51

Unlike LA, MS and AL are pretty evenly divided between GOP and DEM from the numbers I've seen.  With Obama getting 43% in MS, I imagine he won the (small) white Dem vote.
