From his appearance on Your World with Neil Cavuto today.

Now can we please stop talking about whether or not he'll run as a third party candidate?

I got into a discussion about that this weekend. "I hope Paul doesn't run as a third party and re-elect Obama".

At this point in time, given both the CP and LP have picked their nominees, I think the opportunity to run as a third party or independent candidate has passed.

I've been telling people this for a while. And Rand Paul's political future is the reason for this.

What do you mean?

Unlike Ron, Rand might have an actual future in the party, being a Senator rather than a House member and being a lot younger.

It's amazing that Paul is all about 'Liberty', and yet his nominaton depends on him hijacking the convention and party without winning a single primary or caucus. But then again, it's all for America right? Obvously abolishing the IRS and auditing the Federal Reserve will fix all our problems.

Only they are following the rules (Robert's Rules of Order and GOP rules) and the mainstream/Romney camp is the one pulling dirty tricks to stop them.  Oh, and abolishing the IRS would immediately put money back in the hands of citizens - boosting the economy.  Just read his plan: http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/ron-paul-plan-to-restore-america/

Yeah, yeah.  5 are actuall wins are reported by mainstream media, 6 are projections (conventions yet to occur).

Ron Paul ain't gonna be President, and Rand Paul might as well be named Rick Santorum.

Are these projections that the majority of delegates will support Paul or that a majority of delegates will vote for Paul? Cause he won Maine and Minnesota and those states can vote for him, but even though he won Nevada they're bound to Romney there.
