July 28th 2012 at the Freehold VFW in Freehold, NJ.

No, I'm not advertising, but I'm really excited. This is the first live show I'll have ever played.

Thanks! Smiley It's about 45 minutes away from Middletown. It's literally right smack dab in the middle of Marlboro and Jackson.

How old are you? I had an uncle who used to live in Freehold.

I'm 15.

From one musician to another, good luck! Will you get paid?

Thanks! Smiley And yep, but not much Tongue Doesn't matter though, it's gonna be a whole lotta fun Smiley

Good job and good luck!

And if you need a backup dancer-

Thanks...I guess? O__o

Like homely, while it's unfortunate you're playing pop-punk (Tongue), as a musician I wish you the best of luck. Enjoy!

Shhh Tongue But thanks Smiley

What do you play in the band? Do you sing?

I've been in the same band for about ten years now (although the name of it has changed once or twice). Our next gig is actually on June 2nd.

Playing a gig can be a lot of work but it's a very rewarding experience when it goes well. You'll probably end up feeling pretty nervous at this show since it's your first. That's normal. You'll get more and more used to it the more you do it. Best of luck to you. Let us know how it goes.

I play bass Smiley

And thanks! Smiley Sounds great Smiley

You play psychedelic rock, right? Do you have any samples of your music that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Yeah, although some of the stuff we do sounds more like folk-rock these days. Here's a good example of a psychedelicish track though (kind of old):

My brother and I played in a punk band in high school. I didn't actually know how to play the bass, but that was fine.

You don't need to know how to play an instrument to play in a punk band Tongue

But interesting story Smiley Thanks Smiley
