Like moderating posts that are already gone? What's the point?

You normally don't. The only way it can happen is if it's reported before it's deleted, but other than SEVERE posts, if you post something but realize you probably shouldn't have posted it, but it gets reported in the meantime, I don't infract those.

"Greece should just appoint opebo as PM." apparently is a "SEVERE" post then.

in this case, the severity was in your obsession with opebo.

I looked over Jordan, and what did I see?
Coming for to carry me home,
A band of angels coming after me,
Coming for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home.

Read the bolded part, and try again. That's not a universal policy (although Mikado typically adheres to it as well).

He would've gotten the same death points for mentioning anyone they have a vendetta against, jmfcst. (assuming there are others)

Well, the suggestion that any poster here (with the possible exception of Muon) is qualified to lead a country fits the definition of excessive hyperbole. I probably should have gone that way instead of trolling. However, since you deleted it of your own volition, I will go ahead and remove the points on this one.

Compared to the people who actually have led Greece the last couple years?
But the points have been removed, so I guess the issue is closed now.

So, no more jokes allowed? Everything must be deadly serious.

There was a more innocent time when I would have been utterly bemused that you got death points (as in, effectively a percentage of a permaban) for a joke, but, yeah.
