We know George W. Bush loves freedom

Wait, what?  No, George W. Bush loves American freedom, but doesn't really give a rat's ass if the rest of the world has it or not.  See my last post above.

True, it's more like he loves using the word "Freedom."

the track record is pretty bloody and ugly.

Yes, successfully putting in place a democracy in Iraq is an 'ugly and bloody track record.'

The path to where the Iraqis are now was, in fact, pretty ugly and bloody, and in many cases, needlessly so.

If the deaths of 4,459 American soldiers, 318 Allied soldiers, and over 100,000 Iraqis isn't the very definition of "ugly and bloody", I don't know what else to say to you.

Let's not kid ourselves any further here.  'Bringing democracy to Iraq' was the only excuse for the bullsh**t invasion left after all the others didn't work out.  As a result, GWB is attempting to expand upon that to rehabilitate his awful legacy into one of some kind of herald of global freedom.

Bush obviously doesn't believe in promoting freedom because he didn't invade enough countries.
