Dick Lugar.

Speaking of him, is it possible that he gets tapped for Secretary of State by Obama, given that they're close friends?

If Hillary retires, it could be a possibility.  But he'll probably be ready to move on after serving six terms in the Senate.

Guess Wink

She has already announced she is retiring from the position.

Well, Dick Lugar wasn't ready for his career to be over, and has stated he wants to still be involved in public service. Honestly, I think he'd be a very safe hire for either Romney or Obama, as he would easily get confirmed by the Senate. His age may be a problem, but he's actually in quite good health, and I don't expect that to drastically change in the next four years.

Depends on this Libertarian's views on abortion and marriage. I wouldn't be surprised if either offer him State. I would support that move though my first choice for State would be Huntsman.

Osborn believes that abortions should be legal within the first trimester, or in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is endangered.

On marriage, he opposed the "present wording" of the proposed Federal Marriage Amendment, and believes that the definition of marriage is a states' rights issue.

He's also a Mormon, just in case that makes a difference to any of you...
