I'd imagine some actual gay people would find that a bit insulting but whatever. God knows they have to think of something to help them move a few of those printed editions off shelves.

Yet another example of why I don't read

Johnson, I'd say.
So would Wilson be the first female president?

Hey, it makes as much sense as calling Clinton the first black President.

The unique misfortune of the Palestinian refugees is that they are a weapon in what seems to be a permanent war...today, in the Middle East, you get a repeated sinking sensation about the Palestinian refugees: they are only a beginning, not an end. Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

IIRC that label fell to Bill Clinton.

How was Wilson the first female president? I thought he was an opponent of women's suffrage.

I doubt it.
For those who are interested,
Salon.com has an interesting piece on James Buchanan
, the United States' first real gay president.
