No. I've never understood why people want to merge the two most left-wing regions together and the two most right-wing regions together. Population doesn't cause competition; ideological diversity does.

I have been trying to get this point across during this whole debate but no one will listen.
People would flee the megaregion out of boredom and you'd have 20to states with only 20the people.

I, personally, won't be very willing to support this if the proposal can't get majority support from those who would be affected by it.
