Testing out a theory I have.

Song 1: Earl Greyhound - SOS

Song 2: Your Demise - Unknown Dub

Song 3: Meek Mill - Amen

Song 4: The Used - Shine

Song 5: Enter Shikari - Arguing With Thermometers

These songs have been carefully selected based on their genre and how they sound.

There is no way this is scientifically valid. You have no category for people who like it and are over 23, or those who are under 23 and dislike it. Your results are predetermined, yes?

Respectfully, I dislike all five of these and am very slightly older than twenty-three.

Over 23...all are bad....the first one I wouldn't make fun of a family member for listening to, but I would for the rest.  Every one of them was over produced garbage.  There was some things about the first song that were not horrible, clearly they were influenced by a few good bands...but the way the lyrics were conveyed was weird.  The second one sounded like a demo off a low end keyboard from 1994.  The third one I could tell was going to be bad when it said "(featuring Blah Blah)".  It was.  The last two started out with a little hope, but like Obama, that hope faded pretty quickly.

You should write columns in some music magazine.

None of this is what I regularly listen to. Third could be good without the part it's named for. First and fifth certainly have their uses; moods, situations where I'd like them. The same is true for the second although it'd be a very different mood. The fourth was just plain annoying.
I didn't hear any of them out in full, though, and am much older than 23.

Song 1: Boring. Some of the guitars on the chorus were cool, but that's it.
Song 2: Very boring. Might be cool on drugs but only then.
Song 3: Rap. Pass.
Song 4: The Used have some decent songs. This is definitely not one of them.
Song 5: Would be almost tolerable if it weren't for the synths and the awful low vocals.

So unfavorable to all, and definitely over 23.
