Everyone always says "this will only happen in the event of a Romney landslide" or "this will only happen in the event of an Obama landslide"

so which landslide is more likely?

Obama winning all fifty states and DC is more likely because DC is more Democratic than the most Republican state is Republican. Obviously.

Romney is probably more likely to win all 50 states minus DC, but the inclusion of DC means Obama is the only reasonable choice, because it's DC.

I'd say they're about even. The odds of Romney winning DC are the same as the odds of Obama winning Utah.

WV is Republican, but it would fall before Kansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi (the latter two just because whites in heavily black states will not vote for him. At least WV hates Obama and Romney)
