For me it'd either be the pro-choice arguments put forward by Pete Singer and some radical feminists or the fringe of anti-Iraq War people who tried to argue Saddam was actually not a bad guy.

The "corporations are people too" argument when talking about lowering business taxes.

Hitler is unfairly demonized because he was against the bankers.  (Against US intervention in WWII).  Random troll on RonPaulForums, might've been an agent provocateur.

Only women should have a say in the abortion debate simply because they are women.

The same types will get outraged if you say only men should have a say on the draft.

Murray Chass once said that the second wild card was a bad idea because it would lead to more wild card teams winning the pennant.

The worst part is that wouldn't even help the pro-choice position.

Why is that so dumb? The pro-choice position is all about a woman's right to choose.

In the US at least, women are no more likely to be pro-choice than men, and actually less likely per some polls. It might be true that pro-choice women tend to be more passionate about the issue than pro-choice men, but numerically gender makes little difference on one's position.

The problem is that making that argument preassumes a 'pro-choice' way of looking at the issue. For 'pro-life' types it isn't (ostensibly, obviously there's misogyny very present in the movement) uniquely about women, or about women as a group.

Pete Singer's arguments are pretty awful but they're more disgusting than dumb.

For me, I'd say that it would have to be...most common Christian apologetics, actually, would fall into this category. So is the idea (though this may only be current on certain college campuses) that a socialist government would as a matter of course legalize drugs and polygamy (deployed, of course, at people who think that such is desirable).

If 100% of women were pro-life and 100% of men were pro choice, wouldn't that make for an interesting dilemma?

If 100% of women were pro-life, then abortion wouldn't be an issue.

A lot of anti-Zionist arguments also are incredibly stupid and fallacy-ridden, but that shouldn't be a surprise considering how many anti-Zionists are truly awful people (just like most hardcore Zionists of course.) What bugs me though is why people even bother with that when criticizing Israel for its actions is actually just too easy.

High schools should have compulsory uniforms because it acts as an identifier if the students do something bad in public.

I have to agree with this. The NWO/Illuminati crowd serves no real purpose other than to make opponents of the Israeli government look bad. Conspiracy theorists are normally good for amusement, but I wish they wouldn't agree with me.

Not exactly a position, but once the Republican field was down to 4, a guy said he was voting for Ron Paul because he didn't want to vote for a Catholic or a Mormon.
