How can one tell which moderator infracted one?

When I receive death-points, it is anonymously.  Is it possible to know who gave one a death-point?  Do any of you other posters receive your death-points non-anonymously?

Well, I haven't really been doing anything at all, Tweed - I just asked a few questions about what I thought of as 'rules', and now I'm clarified more or less.  

I'm very glad to hear about your efforts and/or movement, but how do you get away with stating the underlined openly?

I suppose you have a similar view about those who bought a Starbuck's at a anti-whatever rally.  The fact is, dead0man, that we are here to participate, and that function you mention is an important part of participation here, as I understand it.  Given that some other forms of participation have been disallowed, you can hardly blame a person for doing those that remain, can you?  And some would say that if 'things get bad enough', etc., though I doubt that is a reasonable expectation.

Meh... that's a lousy metaphor.  You can't be killed more than once.  We're more like the traffic cop who pulls you over and writes you a ticket.  Sometimes its a worse ticket than other times.

Difference is, the policeman only sends one to court, where things like due process and even juries prevail.  It isn't a bit like that here, so having your balaclava on as well as being omnipotent is, well, perhaps you can't understand from your perspective, but from ours it isn't so nice.   And given said omnipotence, its hard to see the point of it.

It is hardly a valid comparison, as no matter how many tickets I may have gotten in the Bad Place, the punishment would never have risen to exile.

No, but eventually you get your license suspended and you can't drive anymore.   My analogy is pretty good.
