When we canned MoPolitico, I came to the conclusion that the need to switch threads was sort of ridiculous. The reason it was designed this way was to deal with the issue of the PPT controlling the thread titles when it came to votes. But since it happens so rarely, perhaps it is not as big an issue as I thought back in 2010 and certainly less then the annoyance of creating an extra thread.

I ask UC to waive the cloture requirement and proceed immediately to a final vote. Senators have 24 hours to object.
