I hate to make a beeline to the off-topic section, but I've been lurking this thread with a mixture of pleasure and bemusement. The Sartorialist, have you ever even
worn
the clothes you talk about? What attracts you to archaic codes and regulations, the things of formal dress almost no one wears? Are you that desperate to belong to the aristocracy; do you forget that in this country marrying into wealth confers no title? I can only shudder as to what you think about blacks and Hispanics.
BRTD- your fashion tastes and mine are one and the same.
Do you really go to Reed (I creeped yr profile, sup)? If so (assuming you're a real poster), all this forum prattle better remain a secret! If anyone in real life found out I posted here, I'd be a dead man. It'd be the equivalent of someone finding my porn library.

No. Those pants are too loud, and the inseam too visible. The PS is a poor fit. The tie is far too floppy. The jacket is ill fitting.

Well, they may be bad, but they don't
look
bad. After all I was a Republican myself in the inanity of youth.
Actually the guys in the background look kind of bad, but I like the four in front - they have a kind of Wind in the Willows look about them.

I believe the term is peon, Simfan. And what do you mean 'like that'? They all look like they come from Wind in the Willows? Mitt Romney doesn't look like he comes from Wind in the Willows:

Nah, that's just too conventional. The man never had any style - I swear George Bush had more panache than that guy.
Those young republicans in their bow-ties and V-necks are I predict, not destined to remain with the party of the banal frat boy in this photo.

Women Willing To Give Up Sex For A Better-Dressed Guy
...but while the former group of men shan't have either, there's no reason the latter isn't having it both ways-
and so can you, lads!
I was able to put this principle to practice yesterday with great success. I was not wearing a suit, indeed I looked more like the man on the upper right, but it's all relative, lads, all relative.
