No, you have several thousand more than that.  And how do you get .222 of a post, anyway?

That's what I was thinking. Then, I realized, oh wait, it's Europe.

I love/hate that many Europeans use a "." when they're supposed to (USA! USA! USA!) use a "," and vice versa.

Actually the correct way of writing that number would be: '22 222'. No unnecessary comma or point.

But 22 and 222 add up to 244, and Tender has 22,229.

Silly Europeans.

or

22 222

or

22.222,22

or

22 222,22

or

22 222.22

but never

22.222.22

Inserting a decimal point typically suggests that the next sequence of numbers is a decimal; 22.222 would be twenty-two and two-hundred and twenty-two thousandths, while 22,222 would be twenty-two thousand, two hundred and twenty-two.

Blue countries are morally superior. Stuff like 20 000 or 20,00% or 22.000 is stupid. Smiley

Love how the countries who use "non-Arabic numerals" are Saudi Arabia, the rest of the GCC, Iraq, Syria, etc. (ie: Arabic-speaking countries).

I know Iran is not an Arabic-speaking country...

Using decimals as 1000 seperators and commas for decimals is stupid.

"." implies a full stop while "," a continuation, making 2,409.35 more appropriate.

22.222 is the correct way to write the number.

I just feel that the period ends the number prematurely. It is a full stop.

22,222 and 22.222 have this in common, that they are not formulated in a language. Tongue

The only correct way to write the number in English is clearly "twenty-two thousand two hundred and twenty-two".
