Attention Mideast citizens: Franzl is the new Superior Court Judge

The office of Mideast Superior Court Judge is currently vacant. Please PM me or post in this thread in case you are interested in this office, since the power to appoint a new Judge is vested in me, as your Governor. The preliminary deadline for applications is Monday, the 28th of May. If there are no applicants until Monday, the deadline will be extended.

Die Richterstelle am Höheren Gericht des Mideast ist zur Zeit vakant. Falls du dich für die Stelle interessierst, sende mir eine persönliche Nachricht oder tu dein Interesse an diesem Amt in diesem Thread kund, da ich als euer Gouverneur berechtigt bin, einen neuen Richter zu ernennen. Der vorläufig späteste Termin für Bewerbungen um dieses Amt ist Montag, 28. Mai. Wenn es bis Montag keine Bewerber gibt, wird die Deadline verlängert.

I would like to inform the citizens of our region that I am nearing a decision on the appointment of a new Superior Court Judge. To my delight I have been approached by two Mideast citizens who are interested in the post and whom I both deem qualified for the job, which leaves me with a difficult choice. Expect my definite announcement in the next two days.


Ich möchte die Bürger unserer Region darüber informieren, dass ich einer Entscheidung über die Ernennung eines neuen Richters für das Höhere Gericht näher gekommen bin. Zu meiner Freude bin ich von zwei Mideast-Bürgern, die an der Richterstelle interessiert sind, kontaktiert worden. Ich erachte beide Bewerber als qualifiziert für diese Stelle, was mir eine schwierige Entscheidung beschert. Meine definitive Entscheidung wird in den nächsten zwei Tagen zu erwarten sein.

Announcement: Franzl is the new Superior Court Judge

I am happy to announce Franzl as the new Superior Court Judge of the Mideast.

Franzl's suitability for this post can hardly be disputed. Having served as Assemblymember, Senator, Attorney General and Secretary of Federal Elections, he is more than qualified for this office.

I wish Franzl all the best in his new position.


Ich bin froh, Franzl als neuen Richter am Höheren Gericht des Mideast anzukündigen.

Franzls Eignung für diesen Posten kann kaum bestritten werden. Da er als Assembly-Mitglied, Senator, Oberster Staatsanwalt und Bundeswahlleiter tätig war, ist er für diese Aufgabe mehr als qualifiziert.

Ich wünsche Franzl in seiner neuen Stelle alles Gute.

Franzl's appointment still has to be confirmed by the new Assembly. So once all Assemblymembers have been sworn in and a Speaker has been chosen, the confirmation process can begin and Franzl will hopefully be able to take office.
