You don't just ban someone who has been here for a decade. Who cares if he reached a certain number of points within an extremely stupid system? The mods need to do a better job of utilizing discretion based upon the dynamics of the forum and not adhering to inane rigidity when this place clearly transcends such.

If he really wanted to get himself banned, he could have simply asked outright.  Like that one kid from Colorado or somewhere whose username escapes me right now.  He put up a thread in the Atlas saying "please ban me", and Nym did so.
