My burb moved from one CD to another, and from on rep to another to boot. So just what, pray tell, is "mine?" The new one, even though before I was not in it, or the old one, which I am now not in?

They're both yours
The one you're not in anymore is your old one, while the one you've recently been placed in is your new one. See, for example, my map: I live in Barrow County there, which switched from the 7th to the 10th.

Since Oklahoma did not gain or lose seats, I was in OK-4 before and OK-4. Tom Cole (R) is my representative. He ran unopposed in 2010 and, sadly, will probably do so again in 2012.
EDIT: I appear to be at the extreme northern edge of OK-4. Just 3/4 of a mile to my due north is OK-5 under James Lankford (R). I would much rather be under Congressman Lankford than Congressman Cole. I know Lankford personally.

You had it worse before and I'm obviously not saying that to praise Allyson.
I went from PA 13 to PA 1 (which is worse).

I was in PA-02 but via my moving am now in PA-01 by one block, but I would have been switched either way at my new address. That's Chaka Fattah to Bob Brady...who I honestly had never even heard of (but am not mad about yet).

I went from having the most bearable Georgia Republican Congressmen to having the worst (and there's a lot of competition there!), and went from having a small and compact district based around a genuine community of interest to an odd amalgamation that combines Atlanta exurbs with the rural black belt, suburban Augusta, and a couple of college towns, stretching half the way to Florida.

I'm pretty happy too.
On the Congressional level, I really couldn't get anything good anyway. At least my state House district would have voted for Obama now.

No, I'm happier with mine; it's more contiguous now, plus I keep the same Congressman (I believe he's 3rd or 4th in line for Dean of the House, behind Dingell (current Dean), Conyers, and maybe Rangel), which means I keep getting millions of dollars of pork (he's on appropriations...).
