Just because you say "20RP12/Windis supporters only" doesn't mean that only 20RP12 and Windis supporters are going to vote.
I interpret 20RP12 supporters as not just including first preferences only.

Besides, a lot of us would like him to know right now we support him in the more general sense.

But in that case, I "support" everyone cuz I preference every candidate.

Yeah... I thought the thread title and question made this quite clear.
Most people aren't firm at this point between their first and second preferences so it's not all cut and dry.
