Something told me to switch over to the German match. Literally five seconds after I did, a bullet into the back of the net!

That's why I posted what I posted. Wink

I like how Podolski's goal apparently ended all hope for Portugal to win the group.

Also how, if Poland had equalized in the 94th minute, they wouldn't have helped themselves at all but the Czechs would have tumbled from 1st to 3rd and Russia would have gone from 3rd to 1st.

Really? From the little I saw from their match, it was mostly played in front of the Danish goal.

Should Germany be eliminated, we really need a gif of Özil slipping and falling over the ball just right now.

No, no. We'll see either one more German goal or two more Danish ones.

In hindsight, it was more likely for Portugal to score three goals...

I'm glad that today, unlike yesterday, the two teams in the group that have played the best football went through.

Freaky, although one can't say that it wasn't deserved at the end of the day.

One wonders if things would have gone any different if the Dutch had won or at least drawn their first match against Denmark. Quite possibly not.

The Dutch were the worst non-Irish team in the tournament, so they still would have come in 4th IMO. It's just too bad that the Danes let in that 87th minute goal against Portugal.
