I voted English and French though I have my doubts.  Certainly those illustrious antecedents seem over-represented here - perhaps because it is an upper-middle class forum, or perhaps simply because they sound good.  I'm more often than not assumed to be a Jew.

While I have documented American ancestry dating back to 1751, five of my great grandparent were not born in the US and my mother was raised in a household where English was not the first language.

Unlike practically everybody else who has voted 'French' or 'French Canadian', I actually am both of those two. I also voted 'Other' for Breton (Celtic).
