The only one I might possibly agree with is "a real bonfire of the Quangos", although that's a bit vague.

All but 2 and 3, I don't feel Tory enough. Maybe it's because I'm not British.

NOTA.

Some of my British friends have Jubilee photos up on their Facebooks - pictures of groups of nearing-30 'young Tories' huddled by the side of the road wearing patriotic apparel and waving Union Jacks.  On one of these I commented: "Occupy Wall Street?".

If only they were the youth of America. Alas, we do not have the Queen here. I myself wore red white and blue in commemoration, but no one seemed to get the reference. Hopefully I shall visit for her Platinum Jubilee (we all know she'll still be around), DV it will be in some official capacity.

One. Questionable that Libertarian loon James Delingpole is fit to define who are real Tories. They'd never get elected again if they openly campaigned on his proposals for the NHS.

Yes, but something tells me most would. Funny, I was reading an article the other day that was trying to be "balanced" and ended up showing the real state of affairs; 8,000 people showed up for republican protests while 6 million showed up for lunches to celebrate the Jubilee.

Which leaves approximately fifty million (less eight thousand) who did neither. Of course most of this vast majority would be at least vaguely upset when the old lady dies.

As an enviromemtalist his brand of Conservatism is clearly not my cup of tea. I would strongly disagree on the two green issues. I would support a rethink of the NHS, but definitely not in the direction this guy wants Smiley.

I partly agree with "A real bonfire of the Quangos".

In a British context I wouldn't be in favour of a lower tax level. Its already pretty low as it is in the UK.

Fully agree:

- Withdrawal from the European Union (if I were British, you can do it, we cant...)

- Tougher stance on immigration.

- Tougher stance on Islamist extremism

- Repeal of all "PC" legislation

- Repeal of the ban on foxhunting (an extremely silly law)

Sympathetic to 4 and 8. Though not necessarily to the point of saying the EU should break up entirely, and probably not to the extent that many right-wingers would take a "tough" immigration position. Other than that, not at all.

None.

A "bonfire of the Quangos" might be superficially attractive, but governments tend to find they need a lot of them, as the current one did.

Sympathetic to several but only actually agree with 8, and even that only tentatively.

I voted for 9 and 10 after reading the article and seeing what 9 really meant, unsure on 6 as I'm not too familiar with it. Definitely opposed to all the others. 3 is beyond absurd and makes no sense from any perspective.
