No.

As much as I think Romney will win, the margin will be razor thin.  Given the right circumstances Obama can still win this thing.  People should not give up on either candidate.  Plus, we are still 4 month 29 days from the election.

Obama should reach 268 electoral votes with his strength in CO and NV. He needs just 4 electoral votes to cross the 270 mark and for that he should not be given up on.

Give up on the idea of him being a good President? Sure.

Give up on the idea of him winning the election? Haha, no.

Oh, Winfield. Making a second account with a red avatar is little inconvenient, isn't it?

Should they give up on him because he's been awful and will continue to be awful? Yes.

Should they give up on him because he won't win? No.

Will they give up on him? No.

No. He's a young president and he'll get better in a second term.

Everyone who comes into a presidency realizes they can't change the world.

Did Romney's supporters give up on him when Santorum was surging?

No.

This race is a dead heat.

So I really can't see supporters of either side giving up on their candidate.

As much as I'd like for them to, they won't.

Obama's still at a point where he's the favorite. There will be a time later this year, though, when many supporters will give up on the idea of him winning the election.

Small business owners fear Obama's taxes from universal health care.
That is why they are not hiring.
They've given up on Obama, but the unemployed have not.

People should only give up on Obama if their views are better represented by one of the other candidates and - if said candidate is not Romney - they are willing to back a doomed campaign.

In 2010, senior citizens were scared of Death Panels, which is Health Care rationing when hospitals and other surgeries become unavailable to the elderly who lack the funds from medicare or face expensive medical care to stay alive for days, weeks, or months.

Much of the anger from senior citizens was used to sweep elections for Republicans.

If the Supreme court approves Universal Health Care, it is a strong possibility that Senior Citizens will once again vote to kick Obama out of office in 2012.

The swing voter may not be the white catholic blue collar worker, it might be the retired Senior Citizen in Florida.

You think there will not be crowded hospitals and waiting lists for surgeries?
Do you know how many doctors accept medicare or medicaid?  Its a terrible system for the patients.
With Universal Health Care, there will be a huge demand that outweighs the supply of medical care; and many doctors will choose to leave GP for lucrative plastic surgery jobs.

It will literally be survival of the fittest, people who can survive waiting lists.  The senior citizens will not be able to survive waiting lists and poor medical care.  They are goners.

So because of UHC, hospitals will be crowded (which they already are) and... all our doctors will go into plastic surgery? Read the Politifact thing.

So do Senior Citizens want the hospitals to be MORE crowded?  Most of them our living day to day.  There is simply not enough supply of Health Care for those in need.  It will literally kill off the weak and the elderly as a byproduct.  It will literally be survival of the fittest and healthiest.  Perhaps that Obama really does want to kill granny.
