Howdy folks. I shall be running for a seat in the Imperial legislature. I'll ad more in a little bit, but for now I'd like to kick things off by saying that if elected I shall fight to keep the Imperial Dominion of the South awesome and to continue The Cultural Revolution of Awesomeness that fundamentally transformed our great region and brought forth a new era of Southern pride in Atlasia.

Staggered terms; A class (you, Yel, & Kal) and B class (Hagrid & Mecha). They're up for election in alternating months (it's B this month).

There are some pretty interesting dynamics, that's for sure. And it's looking like we could have a void in our legislature after the presidential election too... hopefully I won't be the one jockeying for that slot. Wink

Something I've been thinking of lately would be to allow citizens of southern states who happen to be in other regions the ability to vote in regional elections. We'd need to work the details out a bit before anything is introduced but if elected I promise to introduce legislation to make this happen.

Special Announcement

Due to the current crisis brought about by the fed's illegal attack on the IDS, and Emperor PiT appointing me to be Special Prosecutor to enforce the laws of the IDS, I shall until further notice suspend my campaign for Legislator. I am still to be on the ballot and wish to be elected but until this crisis is resolved I shall not be campaigning.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me! I just received a nice call from Mechaman conceding defeat from his plantation/brewery. Though some of his talking was a little hard to understand and at a few points I couldn't tell if he was threatening me or asking for marriage but that aside, I thank him and Hagrid for their service to the region.
