England - Italy 1-1, Italy to win on penalties

Awfully sorry, but this was posted after kick-off.
But only 7 minutes after kick-off!

BTW, Lewis: You might want to change your overall winner while it'd still be worth something.
6 points for being right (1/4 chance) or five deducted for being wrong (3/4 chance)? No thankee.

The points are only taken from the potential bonus. Can't go lower than 0.

Yeah... thing is
a) the five would have been deducted even if I'm right (for changing it), so it's +1 or -5 0. Since I changed it.
b) today is tuesday, not monday as assumed in my above scenario, so it's 0 or 0. Right? Or does it not count as changed if done after the original predictee is eliminated?

Ah you're right. Sunday is indeed 5 days from Tuesday, and 5-5=0. Stimmt Smiley

Didn't realize the final was that close.

...which is why you've tipped Spain. I see you're not an all-eggs-in-one-basket kinda guy Wink

Nah; the reason for that is that (what with the missed games and all) this game is lost and I'm just reduplicating my tips from the other game to here. Though I forgot to change my Spain-France tip here when I changed it over there. That cost me another two points here. Sad

Why are we not getting points for a Spain win, yet Lewis gets 2 when he predicted a tie ?

Huh

Everything is on the front page.... Wink

Predicted scores apply to the final game score after either 90 or 120 min. The tie was correct, and the bonus point for predicting the correct winner on penalties. I've repeated this procedure at least once or twice in the thread.

What an uncool set of rulings ... (if you predict the winner correctly you should get 1 point, no matter how it was done and how long it took) Tongue
