A nicer topic for y'all.
1900 - Bryan
1904 - Roosevelt
1908 - Bryan
1912 - Wilson
1916 - Wilson
1920 - Harding
1924 - Coolidge, although the other two weren't bad (relatively speaking)
1928 - Smith
1932 - Hoover
1936 - Roosevelt
1940 - Wilkie
1944 - Dewey (probably the easiest choice....FDR looked awful in his picture on the Wikipedia article for this election....oh, and that's pretty much what I'm basing many of these on....Wikipedia images
)
1948 - Dewey
1952 - Stevenson
1956 - Ditto
1960 - JFK
1964 - Goldwater
1968 - Wallace (lol)
1972 - McGovern
1976 - Carter
1980 - Reagan
1984 - Reagan
1988 - Dukakis
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton
2000 - Gore
2004 - Bush
2008 - Obama
2012 - Romney

I would say Kerry was better looking than Bush and Obama is better looking than Romney, but otherwise agree.
The interesting thing is if it had any affect on their electoral succes.

Switch 1932. Hoover looked constipated all the time and FDR was handsome and charming. (In 1932, anyway)

Wait, didn't even notice he had Hoover for '32. Switch that too. (FDR was hardly "handsome," however).

You like Cox? (oo-er)
Na, it's a question of looks. Roosevelt woulda had any lass in a wheelchair before the polio struck but he still dazzled the nation with his smile while Landon was just a big-nosed pudgy-jawed shortarse.
Agreed on 88 -Bush's a lean machine.
Bush has always had a stupid monkey face but I dislike his and Gore's patrician noses. Nader 2000 for me.

And wheelchairbound.
The best looking candidate in that election was clearly William Z Foster.

As a gay man Im very qualified to answer this question to the best of my ability.
1900: Bryan
1904: Roosevelt
1908: Bryan
1912: Wilson
1916: Wilson
1920: Harding
1924: Coolidge
1928: Smith
1932: Roosevelt
1936: Landon
1940: Willkie
1944: Dewey
1948: Dewey
1952: Eisenhower
1956: Eisenhower
1960: Kennedy (DUH!)
1964: Goldwater
1968: Humphrey
1972: McGovern
1976: Ford
1980: Reagan
1984: Reagan
1988: Bush
1992: Clinton
1996: Clinton
2000: Gore
2004: Kerry
2008: Obama
2012: Obama.... but Mitt is a close artificial second.
(- Best looking President is Kennedy of course. I think Gerald Ford was good looking but he was president at an older age so I would not define him as stunning still better then Jimmah.
FDR is my favorite president but he was short in the looks department. Nixon was also very short in the looks department thus I put his opponents as only slightly better looking. Goldwater was not a bad looking man without his glasses and Johnson was very unattractive. George HW Bush was not stunning but Dukakis was a mess in the looks department. HW Bush was better looking then his monkey looking son W Bush. Mitt Romney is not bad looking but his looks come off as artificial in nature as does his personality so I gave Obama the edge because personality matters.

Are you sure that Bryan was better looking than either McKinley or Taft? Bryan had a crazy, almost clownish look to him, thanks in part to Joe Biden-style hairplugs. Taft may have been a little fat, but he looked cool in my opinion. =)
