New Poll: North Carolina President by Public Policy Polling on 2012-6-12

Summary: D: 46%, R: 48%, I: 0%, U: 6%

Poll Source URL: Full Poll Details

If Romney added Burr to the GOP ticket, the race would basically be the same; he'd still lead 47-46.

Neither candidate is seen in a particularly positive light. Romney's favorables are 41/46 and Obama's approval is a slightly better 47/50.

party id  : D +8

party id of the last ppp NC poll (Obama +1): D +14

The change in party id sample explains the change of the final result.

The change in party id sample explains the change of the final result.

At this point you ask if it isn't people changing their party ID as they change their opinion of who they're voting for.

Agreed if the sample was D+8 Romney should be ahead by more then 2 statewide. Esp. since these results are skewed towards the Democrats.

Spitting on the face of North Carolina voters who overwhelmingly in a landslide voted for traditional marriage has done what it was expected to do.

RCP Average   5/14 - 6/10   --   47.8   44.5   Romney +3.3
PPP (D)   6/7 - 6/10   810 RV   48   46   Romney +2
Civitas (R)   5/19 - 5/20   600 LV   47   45   Romney +2
SurveyUSA   5/18 - 5/21   524 LV   45   44   Romney +1
Rasmussen Reports   5/14 - 5/14   500 LV   51   43   Romney +8

Voter Registration is D+12 in North Carolina.

Yes, because down here in North Carolina, social issues are our first priority.
