My head (which wants stable, austere, and Europe-friendly government) says ND but my heart (which wants the excitement of EU collapse, to see the Greeks get whats coming to them, and knows that ND helped screw the country over in the first place) says SYRIZA.

Syriza. The only way to save Europe is to kick Merkel's ass as strongly as possible.

We have been trying to reason her for three years. It is now clear she is unable to. In some way or another, we need her to bow.

Independent Greeks (ANEL), followed by SYRIZA

Overall I would support any anti-austerity party over any pro-austerity, eurocrat party.

Probably SYRIZA actually. Because doing otherwise is postponing reality for another six months (and that is how long a potential ND-PASOK-DRASI coalition will last, if that) and we have had enough of postponing reality by now.

But what Al said is the most attractive option tbh.

Action-Liberal Alliance sounds like something out of a comic book. I shall vote for the action liberals instead of the same old lazy liberals.

Probably you are right. How could we call this? Stubborness, blindness or something worse?

Cast my vote for Syriza.

Voting for SYRIZA to teach Merkel a lesson is like my little sister climbing out of her window and onto the roof when she was ten threatining to take her life to teach my mum a lesson because she'd told my sister to clean her room. It ended with her crying and still having to clean her room, and mum was fairly unaffected. As I suspect Merkel will be.

I'm glad I'm not a Greek and has to choose between these awful options. From an outsiders perspective though I'd find a SYRIZA victory most intresting because no matter what it'd be sure to shake things up.

Yes, Merkel should loosen up, but Merkel is more likely to be able to step towards ND's position than SYRIZA's position. SYRIZA could result in Greece getting cut off altogether, and if the BoG is cut off from the Eurosystem, there goes all of Greeks' wealth, and eventually the value of their currency.

This. I'd vote ND, but love a SYRIZA victory just for the giggles.

To vote Syriza to bother Merkel, is like me stopping to go to work to bother my coworkers, while it would likely inconvene my coworkers, it would bother me a lot more to be unemployed.

For me I would vote ND, mostly because their victory and the following push for austerity, would ensure that the party was complete delegitimised, which is the best thing for Greece.
