North Dakota's deceptive "religious freedom" amendment, that among other things could allow a man to beat his wife and children if his religious beliefs say so, lost 64%-36%.

"North Dakota voters soundly rejected a proposed state constitutional amendment yesterday that would have granted "the right to act or refuse to act in a manner motivated by a sincerely held religious belief" even if such actions are otherwise illegal."

It only passed in five counties:

Golden Valley
Logan
Emmons
Billings
Stark

All over 60% McCain.

The five best counties (against the amendment) are:

Divide
Cass
Ransom
Traill
Sargent

Divide is surprising, but the others voted Obama.

Anyone know anything else about such counties?
