Not everybody is tech savy, even for a simple computer, it takes a couple times to get adapted to new technology.  Some Democrats might say Romney is out of touch with common folks, then again, Obama is out of touch when he says 'the economy is doing fine.'  It makes you wonder what type of smart phones politicians carry on them during the campaign trail.

Reminds me of Bush Senior being impressed with the check-out counter scanners back in ancient times.  Men who have never had to buy anything for themselves.

That's an urban myth.

Romney is impressed that one fewer peon had to be employed, so that the elites would have more money to keep for themselves.

If visiting a sandwich shop proves one thing about Romney, it is that he is a man of the people, and that he is interested in what Joe and Joanne American are doing to make it through the Obama recession.

That's a bit of fuzzy logic there. If the company didn't need to hire one or two extra employees to cover for cashier, then they would save extra money over time cause they're not paying the wages. Even so, new technology is expensive from the beginning but in an extended period of time, production will compensate for costs.

You are my favorite board member right now. Whereas Politico just came off as kind of a jerk, you actually sound like you are intentionally ironic, and it's great.

I sometimes like to think that Winfield is actually Mitt Romney, and this is the only time we see what Mitt's really like. If so, Romney has a great sense of humor about this whole "election 2012" thing.

The sandwich computer at Wawas is actually quite impressive and great for the consumer.

I feel bad that these candidates are expected to shovel all this unhealthy food down their throats while running for the most stressful job in the world. Its like we're trying to give them heart attacks or something.

It can't be that stressful. Bush took the entire month of August 2001 off, and ignored all the memos titled "Bin Laden determined to strike in the US".

Well, more importantly, what did he order? I've never even been to a Wawa, so I have no frame of reference.

So Mitt, you were amazed at seeing a gas station that regular people frequent every single day?

Please tell me more about being an average joe.

Once again, I'd like to remind people how ridiculous this entire thread is.

Many Americans have probably never been to a restaurant where you order off a touch pad - I can honestly say I haven't, and if I ever ran across one, I think it'd be pretty cool. Is that bad of me? Because Mitt's being judged hard for having the same reaction.
