Fast and Furious was a policy of a sting operation of giving Mexicans (and Americans) guns, in an attempt to track them. It went wrong, and those guns lead to 200+ deaths.

Attorney General Eric Holder, who played a huge part in this policy, has lied and made several misstatements. He now refuses to hand over documents.

He's being charged with contempt of Congress.

Obama has, today, ordered executive privilege on those documents. Now Obama is involved. Not only is he doing something he said he was against in the 2008 campaign, but he's clearly covering something up (btw, you can't exert executive privilege to cover something up). So much for the transparent president.

Holder is screwed. And Obama could very well be, too.

He leaks our foreign policy and security secrets, and he covers up documents that need to be released.

November isn't too far away now. Will this be the final nail in the Obama administration? The guy is way over his head. So incompetent.

40 years ago this week, Watergate happened. What a way for Obama to mark it! This should be more serious than Watergate - it wont be due to the media coverage, but conceptually it is much more serious.

This is one of those topics we just don't talk about here.

Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

If Obama should be taken down for F&F, Reagan should have been taken down for Iran-Contra. As a matter of fact, Bush had the same kind of schemes going on as Obama/Holder did, only not as far-reaching. If anything, along with Obama/Holder, he should be arrested.

Agreed, lets arrest them all, put 'em on trial, get it all out in the open and see where the chips fall.

But I think your fellow red staters (and what looks like a couple of Teamsters) want to have a word with you in that closet over there.  Good luck!

WASHINGTON (AP) — Congress doesn't have any evidence so far of a White House cover-up involving a botched gun-tracking operation, a top Republican said Sunday, countering the House speaker's assertion that President Barack Obama or his aides deliberately misled lawmakers.

"No we don't," said Rep. Darrell Issa, R.-Calif., in response to a question on "Fox News Sunday" about whether lawmakers had proof now to back Speaker John Boehner's claim about White House officials' involvement.

"And I hope they don't get involved. I hope this stays at Justice," said Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Two things, 1. This won't hurt Obama. 2. It will only hurt the GOP with their little witch hunt going on.

How many cabinet members should resign over this? All of them or only most?

The people that actually did the Contra part of that, Pondexter, Macfarlane, were taken down.

It will hurt Obama, but it is the Holder scandal.
