A while back, a liberal Senate passed a bill renaming the Reagan and Dulles International Airports after Mondale and Arbenz. This was a partisan hack bill that upset many, but since the left had the majority, they pushed it through anyone.
This bill is an attempt to find a common ground by renaming the airports after 2 popular Atlasian Presidents as an effort to let this issue go away.
I find this to be very common sense, and urge the Senate to quickly pass it.

I see no reason not to name two Atlasian airports after Atlasians of distinction. Purple State and Colin are both men of excellent records, and I see no good reason not to rename the airports after them.

These are two of the greatest Presidents we've had. I fully support this, and wish that the two of them were still active here again.

Mondale was too hackish for you. So you rename it after someone who supports a Communist coup here in Atlasia.
Its possible they assigned him Reagan's for a reason.

Mondale was too hackish for you. So you rename it after someone who supports a Communist coup here in Atlasia. Whether it's this, or the time you said you strangled a cat, I really don't think I'll ever understand just what goes through your head. But I don't want to, as I imagine it is absolutely terrifying.
Cool!
Oh, and by the way, I had nothing to do with which Atlasian Presidents were chosen. Of course, that doesn't matter to you, as you just look for every opportunity to try and weasel in an attack.

Thank god someone finally fixed this. I tried to stop it when it originally passed but that didn't work out well.

Vote on final passage of the Airport Renaming Act:
Aye (7): Ben, Clarence, ILV, NC Yankee, sbane, Scott and TJ in Cleve
Nay (0):
Abstain (1): Wormyguy
Didn't Vote (2): AndrewPA and Seatown
With seven votes in the affirmative and no nays the Airport Renaming Act is passed and sent to the White House for executive action. As there are no nays, no vote change period is mandated.

Nothing against the former President, but someone needs to convince me of the virtue of this.

Neither Mondale nor Arbenz has been remotely as important in Atlasia as these two gentlemen.
